About Me

Roger Blake MD: Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Roger Blake, MD, owns and operates the Blake Surgical Association in Cleveland, Mississippi. He founded the practice in 2004 and offers minimally invasive treatments, including robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Roger Blake, MD, balances his practice schedule with adjunct professorships at the Delta State University School of Nursing and the William Carey University of Osteopathic Medicine. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he previously held a position as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he trained medical students in the trauma and critical care section. He also directed the Bariatric Surgery Program and chaired the Central Mississippi Trauma Region Injury Prevention Committee. Dr. Roger Blake earned a BS in biology and an MD at the University of Miami. He later fulfilled a general surgery residency and a trauma and critical care fellowship at Parkland Hospital at the University of Texas-Southwestern.
